  • NC Shipping and Maritime Operations (SCQF level 6)


To be eligible for the MCA exam you require a Chief Mate Deck certificate and have 18 months sea service at that level. You also need to have both a valid Medical Care certificate and also a HELM Certificate at Management level.


Progression to ships master or shore employment within the marine sector.
