Petrol Forecourt Safety Passport Training
The SPA Petrol Retail Passport is the product of a unique collaboration between the UK Petroleum Industry Association (UKPIA) and the Safety Pass Alliance.
Working on petrol filling station forecourts presents some special issues, not least the safety of the public. For this reason SPA, UKPIA and its members have developed the Petrol Retail Passport Course to ensure that workers in the industry and particularly contractors working on forecourts are trained to meet specified standards.

The Passport is designed to be used by clients seeking assurance on levels of contractor health and safety awareness. The Passport programme offers basic, practical health and safety training supplemented with safety training tailored to the petrol forecourt environment.
Successful trainees are issued with a robust Passport photo-card which is tamper-proof, secure and easy to verify. The nationally recognised scheme reflects HSE guidance and is supported by numerous work sectors.
