If you’ve spent much of your life to date taking things apart to see how they work, this course is for you. As a mechanical engineer, you’ll use your knowledge of fundamental engineering principles like mechanics, materials, thermofluids and computer-aided design to analyse and design objects and systems with motion. You’ll graduate with a rounded education that prepares you to take ideas all the way from idea to production and launch. You’ll also develop skills in user needs - vital for anyone working in this field - and business plan development as part of your final year project, which draws together everything you’ve learned on the course.
