Week 1-

Introduction

The role of a professional Make-up Artist

Face analysis, shapes, understanding of colour pigments

The correct way to apply foundations

Contouring/correctional make-ups

Hands on with the students to create the perfect ‘canvas’ for any make-up

Make-up Demonstration

Eye and lip correction techniques

Celebrity make-up styles

Make-up for TV presenters/ Newsreaders

Full looks

Week 2-

Basic hairstyling

Covering- Blow drying, tonging, straightening, rollering, how to create a ‘chignon’, step by step celebrity styles.

Full looks in Hair and Make-up

Students are advised to bring in a camera on all days to record all work for their own Portfolio.

All successful students are awarded the HCS "Media Make-up and Hairstyling Diploma"
