One of the strengths of our curriculum is that we offer modules that are designed to support employability. The Work in the Media Industries module helps you understand what it is like to work in a professional environment. You will carry out work experience within a media organisation and gain practical hands-on experience. This will be supported in the classroom by evaluating your experience in relation to wider debates in the media industries and planning for your future employability. In other modules, you will demonstrate teamwork, practical skills, written and oral communication skills – all of which are key workplace skills.
