By the end of the morning session (Entonox) learners will be able to: Classify N2O2 and O2within the medical on classification on groups. Identify N2O2 and O2 from its presentation. Demonstrate how to use Entonox/Oxygen. State the benefits of Entonox / Oxygen. Understand the basics of pain management. Describe when to administer of N2O2/O2 and to be able to state the contra-indications of its use. Demonstrate the safe use of N2O2 / O2. Demonstrate an understanding of the need for safety and storage when using and transporting medical gases. Suitable for: First Aid Trainers/Instructors wishing to add the skills and knowledge required to deliver medical gases Entonox/Oxygen courses

This one day programme made up of two hald-day modules; Medical Gases - Entonox and Medical Gases - Oxygen and has been devised to give trainers the skills and in-depth knowledge to deliver Medical Gases courses to those who because of their first aid duties e.g. confined spaces, might need to consider the use of Oxygen therapy until the arrival of Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
