Course Aims: To create and edit basic Microsoft® Office Excel 2007 worksheets and workbooks. To improve your confidence when using Microsoft Excel at this level. Course Objectives: Create a basic worksheet. Modify a worksheet and its simple formulas. Create and Edit simple formulas [Sum, Min, Max and Average]. Format the data, cells and sheet. Sort a list of data and answer more complex questions of that data. Filter a list of data and answer more complex questions of that data. Create and edit a simple vertical bar chart. Suitable for: You need to understand how to use the basic functions of Microsoft Excel. Introduction
You need to understand how to use the basic functions of Microsoft Excel. You may have used Microsoft Excel in your job or be new to Microsoft Excel, but have never been given any formal training in setting up a spreadsheet, manipulating its data and editing its content.
This course will cover the basics relating to spreadsheets with an aim to improve your confidence when working with them. It will also include shortcuts that will enable you to achieve tasks quickly and efficiently with minimum effort. At the end of the course you will have your training manual, access to a copy of the training file created during the course, additional Excel training files to download from our website and a course certificate.
