Course programme

Microsoft Excel for Beginners introduces you to the basic commands, functions and capabilities of Microsoft Excel 2007. Designed for those who are new to spreadsheets, you will begin to learn how to input data, and then create tables and charts in order to demonstrate figures visually and attractively.

Upon completion the delegate will be able to:

  • Use Excel to create, save & open spreadsheets
  • Enter & edit information in worksheets
  • Use formulas & simple functions to add, subtract, multiply & divide numbers
  • Enhance worksheets with fonts and borders
  • Format numbers & resize cells
  • Preview & print spreadsheets

Additional information

This course is for new uers of  Microsoft Excel 2007.  It will enable you to begin to learn how to work with spreadsheets and carry out tasks suh as inputing data, creating tables and charts.  You will also carry out the following:

Creating, saving and opening spreadsheets Entering and editing information in worksheets Using formulas and simple functions to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers Enhancing worksheets with fonts and borders Formatting numbers and resizing cells Previewing and  printing spreadsheets Creating and  formatting Charts
