Course programme
The Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) is a software development process that helps developers build more secure software and address security compliance requirements while reducing development cost.
NB: This is NOT a coding course. This is a high-level management overview of how to implement Microsoft's Tools and processes, aligned with the traditional Project 'Waterfall' model, and also when aligned to Agile development processes.
Typically this course is attended by Project Managers working within the IT industry, also Web and Application developers of all levels.
The course is theoretical, introducing different tools to be used by the team at different stages of project development. You are then expected to work with the development tools after the course has concluded.
Course content:
•Module 1, “Introduction to the Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL)”
•Module 2, “Privacy in Software Development”
•Module 3, “Basics of Secure Design Development Testing”
•Module 4, “Introduction to Threat Modeling”
