Spending money is like a task here and If you want to budget it is possible with places around as low as 230-280 a month. In terms of food, I will say get ready 350 euros perhaps a mth for food expenditures.

I was impressed by the creative freedom and the course tutors’ expertise. At Middlesex I could be who I wanted to be! I was already an advocate of the High Court of Kenya before coming to Middlesex. My role involved training law enforcement agents in child rights policy and representing child victims of abuse in court. Postgraduate study was always on my radar and because of the broad range of topics available on the course, Middlesex was my first choice. The lecturers were fantastic; they were so knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects that class discussions were always interesting and interactive. I’m now applying the research, writing and presentation skills I learnt to my work. I’m often invited to advise the Kenyan government on child or minority policy. The skills I gained at Middlesex have made me much more versatile in my thinking and application.

Overall a very positive experience. One of the best things about the course is that we work on a lot of live briefs for real clients. These projects really help build up our portfolios, and at the end of the day this is one of the most valuable things we will have when we graduate.

Way too expensive city but it is worth living there as you get used to the fast pace of life and it is much much easier afterwards to move anywhere else. I would recommend the same to anyone who is looking for a university where they will have an opportunity to extend their knowledge not only in their study area but also in interpersonal communications.
