The principles of Mindfulness that you began to learn and practice in part one will be extended and
consolidated.
This is your chance to continue slowing down, taking stock of what’s around you and take photographs
with thought. Using the skills of mindfulness - being in the moment, noticing without judgement - you
will continue give space to your creativity whilst applying mindfulness techniques of being in present
time, meditation and self-awareness.
Your own personal photographic style will be reviewed and challenged with new techniques and skills
boosting confidence and a providing a real sense of achievement.

About this course

- extend your knowledge of mindfulness techniques in your everyday life;
- carry out various meditation techniques to bring about stress reduction and keep you in present time;
- continue to apply mindfulness to develop ways of seeing ;
- use mindfulness to enhance your developing photographic practice;
- produce a self-directed creative photographic project which reflects your own style and enhanced
abilities.

Please bring a device you are able to take photographs on (preferably a DSLR or a compact or iPhone
android capable of varying depth of field) and get them printed between classes as required for the
project element of the course. Bring a notebook and pen.

You will be partly taught in the classroom and partly out of doors. You will be walking approximately 1 mile (1.5km) in the local area.
