About this course
You will have a basic grounding in key philosophical questions. More so, you will have had experience at having genuine philosophical dialogues whereby you get the chance to learn about your own ideas in more detail and think about whether you agree with yourself - a necessary trait for any further philosophy practice either in life or in the classroom.

Course programme
The sessions will take an enquiry format (minimum power point, I promise). The questions of enquiry will be things like: Is there anything that you shouldn’t learn about? When, if at all, does self-love become narcissism? Are knowledge and beauty opposites? Is there anything money shouldn’t be allowed to buy?
Half of the class will be discussion based and the other half will focus on the thoughts of a famous philosopher. There will be optional reading at home should students want that.Additional information
