About MLibArts Liberal Arts with Study Abroad
The first two years of the MLibArts course are identical to the BA Liberal Arts, with core units, a numeracy unit and a language unit, as well as optional units. You will also begin to explore your specialist subject pathway. This may be one of the disciplines taught by a department in the Faculty of Arts, or a cross-departmental pathway in medieval studies or film studies.
A special feature of the MLibArts is the opportunity to spend your third year studying abroad at one of the prestigious universities around the world with which the University of Bristol has an exchange agreement. Visit Global Opportunities to find out more about where you can study overseas.
In your fourth year, you move on to master's level work. This final year includes a dissertation, units in your subject pathway and other options chosen from across the Faculty.
