Management of Portfolios (MoP) considers the management of change projects and programmes from a strategic viewpoint.  It provides an overview of all change activities including what is in the portfolio, what it is costing, what risks are faced, what progress is being made, and what the impact is on business as usual and the organization’s strategic objectives. The purpose of the Practitioner certification is to confirm you have achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor the MoP guidance and to analyse portfolio data, documentation and roles in relation to a scenario situation. You should, with suitable support, be able to advise on the implementation of appropriate practices and techniques, and apply the method to a live portfolio.  This course is for those who hold the Foundation certificate and wish to upgrade to Practitioner. Learning Objectives By the end of this course participants will have gained a thorough grounding in MoP, including all the Principles, Cycles and their specific practices, and how all these elements work together. Delegates will be able to take back with them the use of MoP in practice tailored according to the needs of their portfolio and organisation. At the end of the course delegates will be able to sit both the MoP Practitioner exam.
