MOR Exam Preparation

Officially launched in 2002, the Management of Risk Guide (M_o_R® ) guide is intended to help organisations put in place an effective framework for risk management, helping decision making based on risks that affect strategic, programme, project and operational objectives. The Practitioner Examination Preparation event provides an opportunity to apply learning of the M_o_R ® guide to scenario-based tasks. The scenarios used on this event are in the same format to those used in the APM Group Practitioner Exam. The Foundation Exam (45 minute, multiple choice) must be passed prior to attempting the Practitioner Exam. The focus of this event is to apply previous learning of the method to sample Practitioner style exam questions. An Approved Trainer will be on-hand to provide feedback and guidance on the work completed. The Examination Preparation Event is designed for anyone who has recently passed the M_o_R® Foundation Exam and wishes to receive advice and guidance in preparation for taking the APM Group M_o_R® Practitioner Examination. The event is not suitable for anyone wishing to learn or substantially revise the M_o_R ® guide. Learning Objectives The key objectives of this Exam Preparation event are to: •Provide Delegates with an opportunity to review their individual preparation for the M_o_R® Practitioner examination. •Develop the delegate’s ability to apply M_o_R ® appropriately through various scenarios and associated objective tests. •Provide Delegates with an opportunity to complete example answers typical of the Practitioner examination question papers •Receive constructive feedback from an APM Group Approved M_o_R ® Trainer. •Discuss specific areas of M_o_R ® with an Approved Trainer and other attendees, and to devise exam strategies from the responses provided.
