As part of their aim to modernise the MOT scheme, DVSA have changed the way MOT training is carried out.
From April 2016, DVSA has replaced the suspended MOT tester refresher course with Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Every year between April and March, all testers must complete the MOT CPD training this includes 3 hours of MOT annual training and they must pass the annual exam.

Course programme

This is compulsory training in order to retain MOT tester status.

This one-day MOT CPD training course allows you to complete the required annual training and take the MOT Annual Assessment all in one day.
