The MRes in Clinical and Health Research is a robust and flexible clinical and health research training programme. It is a component of the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) clinical academic programme, offering a route into a clinical academic career, research management role or further research training. Successful completion of this multidisciplinary Master's programme will equip you with the skills and knowledge to engage in all aspects of research within clinical, healthcare or academic contexts. It is also suitable for those who do not hold a healthcare qualification but who are working in clinical research environments.

Course programme
Year 1
The programme requires the successful completion of 90 ECTS credits. Modules normally consist of 10 ECTS credits plus one dissertation module of 30 ECTS. In addition to the required modules, you will be able to choose one option module from the Faculty's portfolio of M-level modules.
