Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support - Work Based

To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services, learners must achieve 37 credits overall; 16 credits from the mandatory units and a minimum of 21 credits from the optional units available. At least 8 of these optional credits must be from the level 3/4 units. The Mandatory units include: The role of the health and social care worker Engage in personal development in health, social care or children's and young people's settings Promote communication in health, social care or children's and young people's settings Promote equality and inclusion in health, social care or children's and young people's settings Promote and implement health and safety in health and social careOnce you have enrolled onto the programme you will be assigned an assessor that will visit you in the workplace regularly. They will complete assessment plans and reviews with you to keep you on target. They will support you in the collection of the required evidence needed for your qualification through different assessment methods such as; professional discussion, observations, written questions, verbal questions, witness statements and any assignments.
