Introducing your course
The MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (Critical Care) is designed for experienced critical care practitioners who are seeking to deepen their underpinning knowledge and understanding in the field of critical care. The course will prepare you to become a more senior practitioner within your chosen field. The programme covers core learning in relation to research and evidence based practice, and a specialist module in advanced critical care practice. There are also opportunities to undertake modules in assessment, diagnosis and non medical prescribing. In addition, those working at or towards advanced practitioner roles within the UK can elect to study a programme aligned to the newly agreed standards set out by the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine.

HLTH6130 Work Based Learning 40 Credits or open Module - 20 Credits/10ECTS (or 40 credits/20ECTS in lieu of selecting two required module choices)

*HLTH6108 may only be taken if HLTH6120 is also selected and the two modules are studied concurrently.
