This course is the same as the one which is delivered on-campus at the University of Northampton. Students take the same modules and complete the same assessments. Students are provided with full access to the University's online library and virtual learning environment. The MSc Management course aims to equip graduates from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds with the knowledge and implementation skills to pursue a career in management. Experience or qualifications in management are not required. Students with experience at the managerial level may wish to consider the MBA course. There are a variety of assessments which include essays, research papers, case studies, portfolios, oral presentations, examinations and a final dissertation. All classes take place at Birkbeck College (Bloomsbury campus) and students have full access to library facilities.

About this course
Applicants normally require a first or second class honours degree or equivalent. No work experience is required for admission onto the course. Applicants whose native language is not English must provide evidence of their English language capability. The level required for study on Master’s degree courses is IELTS 6.5 (minimum category score of 5.5) or equivalent.

This course is specifically designed to meet a real and growing demand amongst well-qualified young people.
