Course programme

This MSP Foundation and Practitioner course is a 5-day non-residential course with nightly homework, which will provide you with sufficient knowledge and experience in the processes and principles of the MSP Programme Management methodology. On completion you will be able to act as a Programme Manager for a programme with a coherent project portfolio or to act as a member of a Programme Office. The 2-day MSP Advanced Practitioner course is also available - contact us to discuss.

MSP is an internationally recognised best practice programme management method, that can be tailored to suit any type of working culture and any size or type of programme. MSP provides a structured framework for defining and managing complex change, particularly where there is a vision of an end state but the path to the solution is not yet clear.

MSP provides an approach to managing the needs and expectations of diverse stakeholder groups, by focussing on the benefits that must be achieved. A portfolio of interlinked projects can then be run to make the tactical and operational changes.

Adoption of MSP is accelerating across both public and private sectors because it leads to more effective, results focussed management of change.

Course Materials
Course delegates are provided with copies of all the course visuals and case study examples. The official MSP manual and a CD of Foundation exam questions will be sent to you before the course begins, to allow you to prepare for the course and exams.

Exams
The courses prepare you for the MSP Foundation, Practitioner or Advanced Practitioner exams, which are taken as part of the 5-day MSP Foundation and Practitioner or 2-day MSP Advanced Practitioner courses.
