This is a specific event to prepare for the MSP Practitioner Examination. Delegates attending this event must have attended the MSP Foundation course which was based upon the 2003 or 2007 version of the MSP manual. MSP Practitioner Exam Preparation
Learning Objectives:
· Examination at which they were not successful
· Review the syllabus of the MSP Practitioner examinations
Course Content:
· How programmes come about
· Identifying the outline of what the programme is to deliver
· Defining in detail what the programme is to deliver and determining whether it is worthwhile
· Managing the programme including ensuring benefits, realisation, effective and appropriate
· Stakeholder Management, handling issues and managing risks across the programme
· Ensuring that the programme remains worthwhile and aligned to strategic objectives
· Delivering the required outcomes to the required quality
· Programme reviews and audit
· Practical Application Exercises including an opportunity to work in small teams
· An integrated pack of sample examination questions
· An opportunity to experience time management for the Practitioner examinations and trainer feedback on the results of the sample papers
Course Structure:
· Suggested 15 hours of pre-course preparation
· 2-day course
· Delegates are encouraged to complete 1-2 hours of evening work for each day of the course
