Do you enjoy creating original music? Our Music degree is a hands-on course which teaches you contemporary, new, experimental and fusion music forms, without relying on the approaches of traditional music education. It’s not just preparing people to be a recording artist; it is about preparing graduates for a range of careers: making music for audiences such as film, TV and video games, in addition to live music and professional recording. You will get to work on live projects from Year 1, and be encouraged to perform your own gigs and shows at various venues, and will also study relevant aspects of the music business such as strategies for marketing and working under commission.
