This course is aimed at learners who already have a level 3 qualification (i.e. A2s, extended/subsidiary diploma, Access to HE) or a strong portfolio of work. You are expected to hold GCSE English and maths at grade 4/C or equivalent. We welcome applicants who do not match standard entry requirements but who can demonstrate ability to study this subject at university level, and who can evidence relevant experience. Year 1
Over two years the course will cover the historical context of popular music, research, and key performance and composition skills in small and larger groups.
You will collaborate with other students on your course in performance and composition projects in real-world situations as well as develop appropriate academic skills appropriate for higher education.
