Course description This is a practical and work related course preparing contemporary musicians for a career in the Music Industry and a wide range of options are offered for the specialists units including:- Composing Skills.- Keyboard Skills.- Singing.- Music Performance Techniques.- Live Performance.- Music Theory. - Recording.All options will be discussed at interview and for the Diploma Award you will complete twelve units over two years whilst for the Extended Diploma you will complete eighteen units over two years.

Entry requirements To gain entry to this course you must possess four or more GCSEs at Grade C or above to include English at Grade C or above (or an equivalent qualification e.g. Level 2 English) and preferably Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent e.g. Level 2 Maths) or other equivalent qualifications acceptable to the College. You must also undertake a successful interview and attend an audition as well as provide a satisfactory reference.
