Music Technology Rock School Extended Certificate Level 1

You will learn: recording skills; music sequencing; about the music business; and audio recording You will also learn English and maths

You will be assessed by a mixture of practical, written and project-based work

Students that complete this qualification may be able to progress onto a Level 2 or Level 3 course in Music or Music Technology

You will need three GCSEs at grade E (or an equivalent qualification) Entry onto the course is subject to an interview, audition, and attendance at our summer school

You will be offered trips to the British Music Experience Workshops and guest speakers are invited to talk about their roles in the industry as part of the enrichment on the course Many students make good use of the Students' Union to attend concerts and gigs
