This is a very practical, fun and hands on course in floristry. It has been designed beginners who may have little or no knowledge of floristry or working with flowers. During the course you will learn to make a variety of floral designs using a range of basic techniques. These will include hand tied bouquets and gifts, arrangements and funeral pieces and wired and wedding work. You will create a portfolio of all the designs you create over the year, produce 3 practical pieces to commercial design briefs and have an introduction to art and design techniques. You will visit a trade show to gain a greater understanding of the industry.
This is a perfect course for those who would like to gain skills in floristry for a hobby or as a career.
