Nail Technology

The aim of this course is to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills to provide manicure treatments, apply maintain and remove artificial nail structures.

The skills developed by the learner include: communication skills, organisation skills, the ability to work unsupervised, the ability to select and adapt treatment techniques according to nail conditions and situations presented and how to plan treatments and advise on aftercare.

The knowledge acquired by the learner will enable them to understand the chemical processes involved, the systems used and the theory behind the products, techniques and equipment required.
