Description
We like to think of the NBS as work, not education! Our courses don't give you much time to rest! For eleven weeks you are on the go from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday, You are also expected to work during out-of-school hours, and the studios and kit are accessible 24/7.The emphasis of our course is on the practical. Radio managers seldom have the opportunity to train people these days. And second chances are rare if you can't do the job. So, the School is all about getting you to a skills level that makes a real impact when you arrive for work.We want you to spend as much time in front of the microphone as possible. Our courses are intensive, comprehensive and practical. As soon as you arrive at the NBS, you'll join a broadcast team of presenters and journalists. Your team will operate a radio station and, by the end of the first week, you'll be on air. The limit on student numbers means that you will be closely supervised all the time. ...
