National Diploma IT (Programming)

Course Aims:
A BTEC National Diploma is a practical, work-related course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. As well as learning about Computer Programming, you develop the general IT skills you need to start a career.The course will provide the learner with the skills required for; computer programming using modern languages JAVA and .NET, problem solving, project development and web design.It is equivalent to three A levels which means when you have finished the course you can choose whether to get a job straight away or go into higher education first.

Exam:
Most units are assessed by a series of assignments, applying theory, concepts and acquired knowledge to realistic scenarios.

BTEC National Diploma IT Practitioners (Software Development) The National Diploma is seen as an equivalent to 3 A Levels.
