Course Aims:
This course provides a solid foundation in aeronautical engineering. You will gain a valuable insight into fundamental mechanical and electrical engineering principles, together with introductory specialist aeronautical subjects. Practical skills are developed in the realistic working environment of the college aircraft engineering maintenance and repair centre. You will also be involved in the production of a real single-seater sports aircraft (Hummel Bird).
