NC Fabrication/Welding, Engineering and Practice (Including NDT) The course provides the necessary underpinning knowledge for any student undertaking a modern apprenticeship and provides a qualification suited to anyone who wishes to access an apprenticeship in Fabrication and Welding or wishes to progress to an HNC course. The course is designed to provide the student with skills suited to employment at workshop level in fabrication and welding. Subjects include: IT, Design and Make, Fabrication and Welding Principles, together with a range of Welding, Fabrication, CAD, Graphical Communication and Materials Units.

Subjects include: metal Arc Shielded Welding, Design and Make, Engineering materials, Computer Studies, Engineering Numeracy, Thermal Joining Skills, Tungsten Arc Shielded welding, Marking Out, Graphical Communication, Health and Safety, Team Working.
