Entry is subject to successful discussion at an information session. It is advisable that you should be physically fit and able to work to a General/Credit level of study.

Course Aims:

Course Content:
Bricklaying. Joinery. Plumbing. Painting & Decorating. Slating/Plastering/Tiling. Construction Drawing. Building Materials. Construction Technology. Communications, IT & Numeracy. Estimating.
Progression Opportunities:
Students may progress to positions within the industry or onto NC Built Environment. It is anticipated that students who work to an exceptionally high standard may progress directly onto HNC Construction.
Career Potential:
Careers may include apprenticeships in the construction industry, labouring positions or self-employment.
Course Assessment:
Assessments will be on a continuous basis.
