This qualification will be appropriate for individuals who are seeking employment within the airport passenger service sector as well as those wishing to increase their knowledge of the tourism and passenger transport sectors. Alternatively this could be utilised for individuals who wish to formalise and develop their existing experience and skills.

Learners must be 16 or over

This qualification aims to gain insight into the role and duties of an Airport Passenger Services Agent. It will also provide learners with knowledge of customer care and how to handle the needs of airline passengers.

Unit 1 - Researching the airport industry and the role of a Passenger Services Agent

Unit 2 - Understanding the required knowledge for work at an airport

Unit 3 - Dealing effectively with the processing of passengers

Unit 4 - Identify the boarding procedure for passengers

Unit 5 - Identify the procedure for decontrolling passengers

Unit 6 - Identify the procedure for disembarking passengers

When will I receive my results?

Results will be forwarded on as soon as they are received at the college. Please note that certificates, where awarded, can take up to 4 months to be received at the college before forwarding on to learners.
