2. Course description The NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management is established as a leading qualification in fire safety. 3. Entry requirements There are no specific barriers, in terms of academic qualifications, skills or experience to this course. Ideally you should have at least two years work experience in any area of work and have a level 2 English qualification or equivalent. The standard of English required by the candidates studying for this award must be such that they can both understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.If English is not your first language you should be qualified to IELTS 6.0 or higher. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method FC1 is assessed by a two hour written examination marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH.FC2 is assessed by a four hour practical examination carried out in the candidate's own workplace, marked by the tutor/assessors and moderated by NEBOSH
