The examination comprises of two written exams which last two hours each, and a practical assessment which involves a safety inspection of a work site and the production of a written report under exam conditions. The two written exams are taken on one day and the practical to be completed at your workplace.

Course content

The qualification is divided into three units, each of which is assessed separately:

Management of Health and Safety (NGC1)
Controlling workplace hazards (NGC2)
Health and safety practical application (NGC3)
Please contact us for additional information regarding the syllabus for the 3 unitsThe National General Certificate is delivered over a 2 week period. You should also plan approximately 49 hours of private study and background reading.

The examination comprises of two written exams which last two hours each, and a practical assessment which involves a safety inspection of a work site and the production of a written report under exam conditions. The two written exams are scheduled for the 18th October 2010 and the practical completed at your workplace.
