NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management
The NEBOSH National Diploma in Environmental Management is based on UK law
and provides a detailed understanding of environmental risk management.
The course is designed for those with responsibilities for the management of environmental risk or who are aiming to develop and implement effective environmental management systems within their organisations.
Benefits of holding the NEBOSH Environmental Diploma include:
• Allows the use of the letters ‘EnvDipNEBOSH’ after your name
• Entitlement to Specialist membership (SIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and
Safety Management (IIRSM)
• Eligible for Practitioner Membership of IEMA (PIEMA)
• Meeting the academic requirements for non-chartered Membership of the CIWEM (MCIWEM)

About this course
Prior to studying the NEBOSH Environmental Diploma prior
knowledge of the English legal system is recommended
The examination consists of one 3-hour written examinations
and a 4,000 word work based project. You must pass both units to be awarded NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management.
