Units NEC 1 is a taught unit assessed by a written examination. Candidate's scripts are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH. Unit NEC 2 is assessed by practical inspection of a workplace environment which is designed to test the candidate's ability to complete an environmental assessment and produce a management style report on their findings.
