Units NGC 1 and FC1 are taught units each assessed by one two-hour written examination. Candidate's scripts are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH. Unit FC 2 is assessed by practical assessment within the delegate's premises where appropriate. To test the application of taught health, safety and fire principles by conducting a fire risk assessment. This must be completed within 14 Days of the written examination. The practical examination is internally assessed by the course provider and externally moderated by NEBOSH. Suitable for: Managers, supervisors and staff who need to ensure that their organisation meets its responsibilities under the fire safety legislation. Courses leading to this qualification should equip holders to carry out fire risk assessments of most workplaces and identify a range of fire protective and preventative measures required. It is also suitable for people moving into fire safety advisor roles.
