NEBOSH National Diploma Occupational Health & Safety Unit D

Unit D comprises a written dissertation of approximately 10,000 words. The aim of this unit is to produce an overall review of the health and safety management system of the candidates organisation and indicate, using risk assessment, the priorities for the organisation for the future. The focus of this unit should be the application of the knowledge and understanding developed in Units A, B and C to a real workplace situation. It provides opportunities for the candidate to carry out research appropriate to a qualification that is comparable to degree-level. The dissertation is laid out in a 'classical report' structure.
