I would highly recommend attending Prospects College after taking the 3 month day release course for the NEBOSH General Certificate back in 2013.
When attending the course, the staff were very accommodating with any questions I had and any help I needed whilst on site. I had further queries once the course had finished which the team were very helpful with.
The trainer covered all aspects of the course and was very patient with all delegates that needed extra help.
The site welfare facilities were of a great standard and were maintained throughout.

This course is organised by Prospects Training Solutions, a centre delivering Nebosh training for more than 20 year and it is especially designed for professionals who want to develope a deep understanding of risk management.
The course is suitable for a wide range of delegates: mangers, supervisors and all staff involved in health and safety issues who want to learn how to manage risks in an effective way. It is also convenient for professionals willing to start in healt and safety or further professional study. In this course you will learn to investigate accidents, how to assess risk and protect the environment, as well as understanding responsabilites and measuring performance.
The course will take place in Prospects Training Solutions facilities, with a total of seven learning hours throughout 15 days. After its completion, you will receive the official certification “NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety”.

Course programme
The syllabus has been unitised to accord with QCA for England and the level of the examination is set at Level 3 equating to Advanced Level or Advanced GNVQ. This is set in three parts giving candidates a foundation in the practical aspects, as well as an insight into the management of occupational safety and health.
· UNIT NGC 1: Management of Health and Safety – consisting of 8 elements*· UNIT NGC 2: Controlling workplace hazards – consisting of 8 elements*
· UNIT NGC 3: Health and Safety practical application

The Practical Assessment:
Workplace physical inspection and recording, including identifying hazards, assessing risk level and identifying actions.
Written report to management on the inspection – concentrating on convincing management to take action.
