Noise Risk Assessment & Management

To provide delegates with the skills and knowledge to carry out effective risk assessments. To enable delegates to develop a suitable noise risk management programme for their organisation. Delegates will need to gain further hands on experience in their own workplace to gain competency in noise assessments.
Having attended the course delegates should be able to:

• Appreciate the health effects of being exposed to excessive noise at work.
• Understand measurement of noise (including dosimetry) in relation to current standards
• Conduct surveys in the workplace to assess the risks from noise.
• Interpret the results of noise surveys.Understand the current legislation and standards in these fields
• Demonstrate the key elements of a noise management programme.
