You will get a huge greek life here and will mostly know people from fraternities and sororities with a good source of entertaining events and social life without receiving any negativity.

I would say your experience depends upon where you are residing in Evanston because half of the Evanston is like the affluent north shore and other is more of like Chicago.

Northwestern university has recently gone through modifications and rennovations. There are new gyms, libraries and great study and hanging out spots. It feels great to be here.

The Northwestern campus is quite diverse which is beneficial as you are bound to have friends with different looks, acts and believes as there like 30% of Jewish and 5-7% African American and Hispanic students.

For having the typical college experience you need to live north campus as the south campus is more of artsy and don't really like to go out. north has all of the fraternities but your choices don't really play a role while filling the housing application.

There's nothing to do other than fraternities and The Keg really old but fast so switch up doing different things like going around the city, staying in dorms or do parties at least I have seen a lot of people doing so.

Studies are interdisciplinary, the opportunities available to combine classes of different fields is above expectations. Economy and sports are classy an instance which allow students to view fields differently.

Mostly goes religiously but some go less frequently and then the greek once who spends the day inside the bar. The windy city Chicago and its Saturday night glory are just a train ride away.

Football and basketball are the only two sports witnessed. Also Women's Lacrosse has great fan following. The university provides great atheletic facilities and free student's section. Overall the school has got great schol spirit.

I very much liked the Evanston town for it is nicely located nearby Chicago and Lake Michigan. Also has excellent Northwestern University. It is a peaceful town and provides perfect environment to study and relax.

The buildings look old because it is built with stone but the interior is very comfortable and well functioning. norris maybe not that popular but seating and food options are many. you won't get any trouble of overcrowding in the gym except in basketball court sometime. But you won't get anything to eat or go past 10 as everything closes.

Northwestern is an institute of excellence. It has the best of everything for its students. The best of facilities and resources, best of the teaching staff and everything else.The academics are very challenging specially in undergraduates, there is a cut throat competetion.
