What I would highlight:
Try to be in residential college being a freshman as the atmosphere is cooperative and friendly providing lot of activities and excursions to help foster the community senses. the majority of people live south campus for closeness to the Evanston for grocery shops, restaurants, movie theatre etc. Allison and Willard are best of the south dorms, Hinman is also good known though, the north campus is full of engineers mostly among which Slivka is best.

What I would highlight:
I very much liked the Evanston town for it is nicely located nearby Chicago and Lake Michigan. Also has excellent Northwestern University. It is a peaceful town and provides perfect environment to study and relax.

What I would highlight:
The buildings look old because it is built with stone but the interior is very comfortable and well functioning. norris maybe not that popular but seating and food options are many. you won't get any trouble of overcrowding in the gym except in basketball court sometime. But you won't get anything to eat or go past 10 as everything closes.

What I would highlight:
Northwestern has got average looking and having average personalities of girls and nothing to brag about. There are casual nightouts if you are looking for one of it. The quarter system of university runs too quickely to notice. Overalll the Northwestern student s mass is good and has got amazing diversity and fun amaongst themselves.

This place has abundant of options for amazing food like Alison and Sargent are the biggest and most amazing dining halls though the variety is not that great. There lot many spots which caters amazing food options for you to choose from.

What I would highlight:
Some insensitive incident occurs but overall its good considering the large uproar and complaints about diversity state. The minority is well represented if you look at the members, the dorm space of interfaith hall was meant for a mix of different student backgrounds, and have many campus organisations celebrating different ethnic backgrounds.

Its 3 out of big 10 schools but does progress and focusing on put into facilities but yes it could be better as school pride and athletic.

What I would highlight:
You are forced to meet new people with different interests in activities and stuff through parties by northwestern orientation program. There's some jocks, party school and lots of fraternities bro types as its a sports school. they don't count that much and equally more flowery as real girls, pretentious and pretty. hook ups are common and everyone's culture is interesting.

What I would highlight:
I was a research student of science majors at Northwestern and the research community was very rich and our department fully equipped with facilities and lots of work. Though the research work is not paid but there is alot to learn and enhance your skills. Generally, labs except you to come in work 12 to 15 hours a week and sometimes even more than that.

What I would highlight:
University has got all the facilities from computers to printers and even have no rush for it, but most of the students have their own laptops. The netwrk connectivity annoys quite a few times but its all good in general. I would suggest to have a personal computer because its all the way more convienient.

A great bar 'The Keg' has been just closed and you need to take cabs or buses to go other bars as they are in downtown. Fraternity parties are great too but get closed for the strict corps.

The college has got a nice computer lab with well accomodated computers but it usually takes a while to log on in the first place.

What I would highlight:
School setting has a great part of wild cats, there's also a quidditch and dodgeball team. Among international students frisbee on the quad is very popular. Purple pride is everywhere in downtown Evanston no matter what sports you stroll.

The town has got several options of transportation like El the elevated train, Metra, Midway and O'Hare; the two main airports though inconvinient.

What I would highlight:
I belong to McCormick, school of engineering and applied sciences at Northwestern University and I felt it to be quite competetive like those of Journalism school Medil and the school of music, Bienen. The GPA and school specific essays are equally important. You have to perform well in both the fields.
