Overview of the course:

A practical course - 1 day. During the training you will gain the practical skills and knowledge to enable you to take a practical assessment. The assessment will be on the day following the completion of the training.


Topics:

1. Health & Safety in the use of Pedestrian Grass Mowers.

2. Operation and maintenance including:

• Fuel/oil levels
• Air filters
• Cutting cylinder adjustment (if applicable)

• Height of cut adjustment

• Safety adjustments of belts/drives/guards

• Lubrication points

• 2-stroke mixes (if applicable)

3. Starting/stopping procedures.

4. Operating procedures including mowing of banks.

5. Mowing patterns and quality.
