Numeracy at Entry Level

If you struggle with everyday maths, or lack confidence working out calculations or measurements then this course is for you.

The desire to improve your skills and the commitment to attend lessons regularly.

• Basic maths calculations
• How to use maths in everyday activities such as shopping

You could progress on to a Level 1 Numeracy course, subject to your ability, or on to a Level 1 course in your chosen interest area.

Courses run for one 3 hour session each week from September to July.

Free courses starting in September 2009
Courses are free to home students who do not have a qualification at Level 2 or above - that is five GCSEs with grades A to C or equivalent. A fee applies for overseas students.
