Learn the nuno technique of wet felting onto fine fabric to make durable and beautiful lightweight scarves. Suitable for beginners to felt making.

What will the course cover and how will it be taught?

During theworkshop you will learn nuno technique of wet felting onto fabric for scarf making. The tutor will help you through demonstrations and individual advice.There will be samplesand books to look at. You will be able to check how you are getting on by discussion with thetutor and by looking at other student’s work.

Are there specific requirements for joining?

No experience necessary.

Will there be any homework and how long will it take?

Practice what you have learnt at home.

What about equipment, clothing and materials?

Please bring 6 pounds to cover the cost of materials.

Please bring an old bath towel, plastic bag and pair of small sharp scissors.

Alsobringa camera if you can so you can photographyour work, and other people’s.

From Joss Lane car park continue along Main Streetand take 1st left into New Street. The Methodist Hall is at the far end on the right. Limited parking at hall. Park in Joss Lane car park in the town centre. Access through main entrance, hall is on left.
