Why study the Master of Nursing StudiesThis program has been specifically designed to prepare students within two years to work as a Registered Nurse in Australia. Students will learn to work effectively in interprofessional teams to promote quality health outcomes for clients in their care and provide high quality client centred care through safe and effective nursing practice according to the NMBA (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia) Registered Nurse Standard for Practice. The program is offered two years full-time with a fast track option of 18 months (for eligible students). All problem based learning tutorials, lectures, seminars, workshops and clinical laboratories take place at the Translational Research Institute on the Princess Alexandra Hospital campus.
