Nutritional medicine concerns itself with the part that nutrition plays in health, disease, lifecycle and ageing.

It’s suitable for the in-service training of pharmacists, healthcare workers, and for people working in the food industry.

You’ll develop a deep understanding of the complex relationships between nutrition and health, and the range and potential of nutritional management to postpone or treat disease.

The course takes a maximum of 60 months according to your availability. It consists of three or four day taught periods at the University, preceded by preparatory study, and followed by consolidation and assessment. It will teach you to take a critical and scholarly approach to the theory, practice, literature and research findings within the subject. Individual modules may be taken as stand-alone sessions. In addition, there are options to obtain a Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma.
