First I finished the Teaching Assistant Level 2 Course and then I chose to complete the Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Course. Because I had to follow the course at a placement, I signed me up as a volunteer in my local primary school to be in front of its reception class once a week. Later, I gained employment in another local school as an SEN Teaching Assistant, which I enjoyed a lot. Distance Learning gave me flexibility to study, and new experiences that I thought I could have never had.

As the Director I was encouraged to undertake a qualification as part of the service SDL provide. My staff undertook L2s and I was persuaded to undertake the Level 4 - what a worthwhile expereince this has been! Very interested in seeing how the process works first-hand and also has enabled me to develop a new structure to the business with qualifications targetting specific levels/duties. Extremely pleased with the support and business-sense that SDL provided and will certainly continue to do so as they have completely changed my mind about training providers and the qualifications offered - their knowledge and also impartiality creates and supports this throughout and a pleasure doing business with them. No politics, funding issues, eligibility or rhetoric.

Have been able to create the qualification that suits me and my organisation - thanks to fantastic advice & guidance & committment from SDL. Cannot speak highly enough of them and was very pleased to meet them and work with them. Decided to extend to the Diploma and have found the experience very fulfilling & has given me a lift.
